Waabiny Time Playgroup

Working with Noongar Elders, Indigenous Corporations and Noongar people throughout the region, GSNAC have developed an early years program called Waabiny Time.

Waabiny is Noongar for ‘playing’. Noongar children need more Waabiny Time — their parents do too.

They want to connect with our powerful and ancient culture … and they want to connect to our Country.

We achieve this by delivering holistic wraparound support to strengthen their connection to family, community, culture and Country.

Our phased plan is for more Noongar children in the Wagyl Kaip and beyond to experience culturally responsive early years care … delivered for Noongar, by Noongar.

Our dream is for our children and their families to grow to their full potential and thrive.
